Shaolin Cowboy Release Estimate
Geof Darrow has confirmed on Facebook that he’s working on Shaolin Cowboy, and that the 3 final issues can be expected in September, October, and November respectively.
From Facebook:
“I‘m back from Tokyo and inking Shaolin Cowboy #1. The first issue is the easiest of the three as it is only 27 pages. I’ll try to go as fast as I can and aim for a September release for issue 1, October issue 2, and November issue 3.
If you are looking for Dostoyevsky this might not be the book for you. However if you sharpen your pencils with a chainsaw, this might be your cup of tea. Action packed!!!!

Hey all, I don’t like to shamelessly promeote myslef on a blog like this, but I got to spread the word around. I tried once before on kickstarter to fund my graphic novel pitch, but failed. Here’s is my 2nd attempt, have a bit more material prepared, and have a more modest budget.
If anything, please reblog! I want to get this thing seen by Dark Horse, so I can be considered part of that great crowd with artists like Darrow!

Met Geof for the first time yesterday at the convention here in Dallas -- talked with him for a bit yesterday and some more today - really friendly fun guy. He's got some pieces for sale - $100 to $2500 bucks - some nice stuff!! I had a couple of drawings already, and even though they were already signed, I asked him to add my name to them. I even bought him a hat I saw at Bass Pro shops - looks just like the one he wears - but it has lights in the brim!
That’s awesome! Cool story!
Yeah, I’ve met Geof only once, and it was at C2E2 last year, he gave me a free sketchbook!
I’ve been dying to meet him again, the only book of his I had at that point was Hard Boiled, and I’d love to get all of my rare books signed! I’m from Michigan, and since its so expensive to go to any of the big name cons, I always miss them. Wish he’d come to Detroit sometime.

Hey all, I would first like to say that I don’t usually plug myself on blogs like these, but I just wanted to get this out there.
Here’s my graphic novel project on kickstarter. I’d like to pitch this to several different comic publishers, so I’m counting on every bit that helps!
My comic will be in the great tradition of European greats like Darrow, Moebius, and Liberatore, along with healthy doses of Barry Windsor Smith, John Buscema and Simon Bisley.
